In creating much of the colors and patterns on cloth, I frequently work outside, directly on the landscape, and inside on large surfaces with trays and benches. To see and hear a discussion of my work and visit my studio, watch the PBS Arts District coverage of a show I had in partnership with Ray Tomasso: Watch here!

I’m giving you a peek into how I create some of my work; the variety of ways galleries and museums have exhibited it; and some glimpses of visitors’ reactions to it.
Curators frequently group together works that resonate with a specific theme. The same art pieces can be chosen for different presentations and varied spatial arrangements. Best of all is watching visitors react to my work. Children are especially uninhibited! My rusted and burned sculptures and installations are frequently chosen to create entire villages around the concepts of physical and cultural remains.
My Sea Gypsies as an installation are shown en mass, but frequently gallery directors bring in a smaller grouping of the jelly fish to add kinetic interest to exhibits of my other works that address water. To see my jelly fish in motion, Watch Here!
Natural Landscapes and wildfires are a major subject of my work. From installations to dimensional wall works, many exhibits of my work are curated with goals of specific impact and community experience. Here are just a few of the varied collections that gallery and museum directors have presented and the visitors that stopped by.
