This convex art quilt refers to my memories of late nights at the beach. The ocean surface glows like dark gold, shimmering across the distant sand, sea, and sky.

I created this work with soy wax resisted and discharged black satin fabric. The cloth was then layered, stitched horizontally in varying widths, and burned on the edges.
