This columnar triptych recreates my first impression of seeing the surviving marble columns in front of a 5,000 year old Minoan palace in Crete. These carvings originally told passers-by about the many virtues of the noble family within.
This work was created with soy wax resisted and rusted silk; stitched and burned.
Purchased by a municipal public art foundation.
