Walking through a rainstorm, I become aware that hard rain falls in waves and undulates around me, creating a physical curtain that moves like an underwater tide.

This panoramic convex work is constructed of a top layer of rusted and burned silk, appliquéd over several layers of dyed cotton and silk which shows through the burned openings. All these layers were stitched together, embroidered and burned.
