Like so many other mothers and wives, I have spent many of my weekends sitting on the grass in a park or on the floor in a gym watching my husband, son or daughter play sports tournaments. This art quilt reflects on some especially memorable beach volleyball tournaments. Sitting on the beach from early morning to early evening, my view took in the changing skyline and the gorgeous colors through the net.
