Wildfires have become an all-too common occurrence for us; at ounce beautiful, but threatening. I pursue a large body of work on this subject. This work was created specifically as a maquette for a proposed large commercial installation.

I made this work using tiny Shibori techniques on dyed and discharged fabric, stitching and burning the final work into this shaping.
